Celebrating its 5th year, Perchin For MS - Lake Simcoe's Premier Ice Fishing Event has once again seen great success.  One of Ontario's top winter events, held March 7, 2015 saw Father/Daughter team "Big Kid/Little Kid" - Tim Everson and Chelsea Brazel win $2500 with an impressive catch!

The annual Perchin for MS Ice Fishing event took place at Sibbald Point Provincial Park in the Town of Georgina, under mainly clear skies.   Hosting 465 competitors from all over Ontario and into the United States the event couldn't have gone better!

At 5:30am teams started arriving for the big day.  With $2500 cash on the line from Jack Link's Beef Jerky, teams were out to find a good spot…and obviously some of them did.  Recording its biggest weights yet, the tournament concluded with a 10.26lb first place win by Father/Daughter team Tim and Chelsea.  An impressive catch for any team!

The real winner of the day though, was the cause itself.  The tournament held in support of Multiple Sclerosis keeps bringing awareness to the illness.  It also continues to raise important funds used to assist those with MS.  Organizer and MS Sufferer, Doug Poirier couldn't be prouder.  "This event keeps getting better each year.  The support from our competitors and sponsors is amazing!"  "Our volunteers, sponsors, local community and that of the fishing community as a whole make this event the success it is."  We have also raised over $45 000 so far that has gone to run programs and help people with MS.  This year will likely push that number to be over $60 000.

Perchin for MS would like to congratulate all of the winners!  We also would like to congratulate all the special contest winners as well.  Below are the top 10 winners and special contest winners for 2015:
