Welcome to Perchin for MS – Lake Simcoe’s Premier Ice Fishing Tournament – Hosted at Sibbald Point Provincial Park, SUTTON WEST, ON.
Perchin for MS is a Charity Ice Fishing tournament in support of ending MS and bringing awareness to the disease.
The tournament is a one day, team event. Teams consist of 2 adults, 1 adult (with up to 2 kids 14 under) or a single adult.
On tournament day, teams can begin to arrive at the park at 6 am. Teams (all team members) must check in at registration and sign their waiver, etc.
Afterwards, teams can move their gear to the check in area for inspection. Once inspected, teams are able to make their way into the designated fishing area to choose their spots.
There is to be NO drilling of holes or fishing until 8:00 am teams can fish from 8 till 1pm, trying to catch their 10 biggest perch by weight. At 1 pm teams must be off the ice and attending the weigh in station.
After weigh in, while the scores are being sorted, a charity BBQ is available and the silent auction and live auction will take place.
